About this product
Almost no sneaker can be resoled, because almost every sneaker is cemented. The Court Low is Blake stitched: the upper, insole and sole are sewn through, and a cobbler with a Blake machine can replace the sole for the cost of the unit. Rune will do it for ₹2,400 including return postage.
The upper is vegetable-tanned calf that creases rather than cracks and takes on a patina at the flex point. The lining is unfinished pigskin, which is more absorbent than the usual synthetic and the reason the shoe can be worn without socks in a way most cannot.
