About this product
Double-faced cloth is two woven faces bonded and then split by hand at the seam allowance so the coat can be built without a lining — every internal edge is turned and saddle-stitched by hand. It takes about nine hours per coat and it is why the price is what it is.
The cloth is a 620 g Italian wool and cashmere from deadstock, which is also why the run is 280 pieces and will not be repeated. Cut long and straight with a single back vent, drop shoulder, and a two-button closure set low.

Solid, not exceptional
The build quality is genuinely good and I have no complaints there. It is a little heavier than I wanted, which the listing does state — I just did not weigh the alternative before ordering.
