About this product
Halcyon ships two phones a year and supports each for seven, which is longer than most people keep a contract and considerably longer than the industry norm. The commitment is contractual rather than aspirational: the security patch schedule is published, and Halcyon has met it for every model since 2019.
The back comes off with a plastic spudger. The battery is held by a pull tab. Screen, camera module, charge port and speaker are each a separate part with a published price, and the repair manual is on the product page rather than behind a support request.

Genuinely well made
Three months in and no change in how it performs. That is really the whole review — it has not developed a fault, a squeak or a loose part.

Second one I have bought
The reason I chose this over the cheaper option was the published measurement, and having compared the two side by side, the difference is real and worth the gap.

Genuinely well made
I bought this after reading the specification twice and it is accurate. The finish is even, nothing rattles, and the weight is what was stated rather than what was hoped for.

Genuinely well made
Packaging was minimal and recyclable, which I appreciated. The product itself is well finished and the instructions were clear enough that I did not need to look anything up.

Second purchase. The first is still in daily use eighteen months on, which is why there is a second.
