About this product
The Transit exists because Auréau got tired of throwing away headphones with dead batteries. Four screws behind the left pad reach a standard 1200mAh cell that costs a fraction of a new pair — and the firmware reports its cycle count so the decision to change it is a number rather than a guess.
Noise cancelling is adaptive across three strengths, with a transparency mode that passes speech through a narrow band rather than opening the microphones wide. Runtime is 44 hours with cancelling on, measured at 60% volume with a 1kHz tone, which is the condition Auréau states on the box.

Genuinely well made
Three months in and no change in how it performs. That is really the whole review — it has not developed a fault, a squeak or a loose part.

Better than I expected
The reason I chose this over the cheaper option was the published measurement, and having compared the two side by side, the difference is real and worth the gap.

Worth the money
Second purchase. The first is still in daily use eighteen months on, which is why there is a second.
