About this product
A dynamic driver for everything below 2kHz and a single balanced armature above it, crossed passively at a point Auréau publishes rather than hides. The shells are resin-printed from an average of 400 ear scans, which is why they sit deeper than most universal monitors without pressure on the antihelix.
The MMCX socket is recessed into the shell so the connector takes the strain instead of the solder joint — the failure that ends most detachable in-ears. Eight tip sets are included because fit is the whole of the low end on an in-ear, and one pair of medium silicones is not a fitting.
Highlights
- Hybrid: 9.2mm dynamic plus one balanced armature
- Recessed MMCX — the connector takes the strain, not the joint
- Shells derived from an average of 400 ear scans
- Eight tip sets: four silicone, three foam, one double-flange
- Published crossover point and impedance curve

Worth the money
The reason I chose this over the cheaper option was the published measurement, and having compared the two side by side, the difference is real and worth the gap.

Does the job properly
Ordered on a Tuesday and it was here Thursday. Setup was straightforward and the documentation actually covered the thing I got stuck on.

Would buy again
Packaging was minimal and recyclable, which I appreciated. The product itself is well finished and the instructions were clear enough that I did not need to look anything up.

Expected more at this price
Sizing is at least a half size small compared with everything else I own from this category. Worth ordering up.

Exactly what was described
Three months in and no change in how it performs. That is really the whole review — it has not developed a fault, a squeak or a loose part.

Good, with one reservation
No fault with the product. It is a size up from what I expected, so check the measurements rather than the size label.

Sizing runs small
Arrived with a mark on one edge. The seller replaced it without quibbling, so two stars for the first unit and the replacement has been fine.

Good, with one reservation
The build quality is genuinely good and I have no complaints there. It is a little heavier than I wanted, which the listing does state — I just did not weigh the alternative before ordering.
