About this product
Sealed rather than ported, which costs a little output below 60Hz and buys a low end that stays defined at close range. Koto builds for the distance a desk actually imposes — under a metre — where a ported cabinet’s group delay is audible as a smear on anything percussive.
The back panel carries a three-position boundary compensation switch and a continuous high-frequency trim. Both are analogue, both are marked in decibels, and between them they cover the difference between a monitor against a wall and a monitor on a stand. Sold as a matched pair.
Highlights
- Sealed cabinet — no port noise at close listening distance
- Analogue boundary compensation, marked in dB
- Matched pair, drivers selected within 0.5 dB
- Class D amplification, 60 W LF and 30 W HF per cabinet
- Balanced XLR and TRS inputs on each cabinet

Does the job properly
Second purchase. The first is still in daily use eighteen months on, which is why there is a second.

Exactly what was described
Packaging was minimal and recyclable, which I appreciated. The product itself is well finished and the instructions were clear enough that I did not need to look anything up.

Second one I have bought
Three months in and no change in how it performs. That is really the whole review — it has not developed a fault, a squeak or a loose part.
