About this product
Pure beeswax and a flat-braided cotton wick, with nothing else in it. Not a beeswax blend — a blend is usually mostly paraffin, and the difference is visible in the flame and audible in the absence of the faint crackle a wick with additives makes.
Unscented, because beeswax has a smell of its own that a fragrance oil covers. Burn time is 62 hours, measured across three units burned to extinction rather than extrapolated from a one-hour test.

Not for me
Arrived with a mark on one edge. The seller replaced it without quibbling, so two stars for the first unit and the replacement has been fine.

Worth the money
The reason I chose this over the cheaper option was the published measurement, and having compared the two side by side, the difference is real and worth the gap.

Second one I have bought
Three months in and no change in how it performs. That is really the whole review — it has not developed a fault, a squeak or a loose part.

Almost right for me
Works well and looks right. Delivery took longer than the estimate by three days, which was communicated but still slower than I planned around.

Almost right for me
Does everything described. Whether it is worth the difference over the mid-range option depends on how much the specific feature matters to you — for me it was marginal.

Exactly what was described
Ordered on a Tuesday and it was here Thursday. Setup was straightforward and the documentation actually covered the thing I got stuck on.
