About this product
Every joint is a bolt through a cross-dowel, which means the chair can be taken apart and reassembled indefinitely — and that a loose joint after ten years is a quarter turn rather than a write-off. Glued mortise and tenon is stronger on day one and unserviceable on day 3,000.
Solid white oak throughout, no veneer and no engineered core. The webbing is 60mm elastic on a serpentine layout and is a replaceable part; so is every cushion cover, in any of six fabrics.
