About this product
A camera with three physical controls — shutter speed, aperture on the lens, and ISO on the top plate — and a rear screen that shows the image after it is taken rather than before. There is no video mode. Vellum did not remove it to make a point; it was never designed in, and the buffer and thermal budget went to stills instead.
The rangefinder patch is optical, mechanically coupled and adjustable by the user with a hex key and the published procedure. The sensor is 40 MP full-frame with no low-pass filter.

Does the job properly
Three months in and no change in how it performs. That is really the whole review — it has not developed a fault, a squeak or a loose part.

Genuinely well made
Arrived two days early and packed properly. Everything on the listing matched what turned up, including the parts I half expected to be marketing.

Would buy again
The reason I chose this over the cheaper option was the published measurement, and having compared the two side by side, the difference is real and worth the gap.

Better than I expected
Ordered on a Tuesday and it was here Thursday. Setup was straightforward and the documentation actually covered the thing I got stuck on.
