About this product
The Atlas 14 is built around the assumption that you will still be using it in six years. The battery is held by two captive screws and a connector, not adhesive. Memory is socketed SO-DIMM rather than soldered. The storage is a standard 2280 slot with a second one free. Northmark publishes the full service manual and sells every part in it.
The display is a matte 2880 × 1800 panel at 120Hz — matte because a workstation is used under office lighting, and the gloss that makes a demo unit look better makes an eight-hour day worse. Colour is calibrated per unit to ΔE < 2 against sRGB and the report ships in the box.

Second one I have bought
I bought this after reading the specification twice and it is accurate. The finish is even, nothing rattles, and the weight is what was stated rather than what was hoped for.

Worth the money
The reason I chose this over the cheaper option was the published measurement, and having compared the two side by side, the difference is real and worth the gap.

Genuinely well made
Packaging was minimal and recyclable, which I appreciated. The product itself is well finished and the instructions were clear enough that I did not need to look anything up.

Expected more at this price
Sizing is at least a half size small compared with everything else I own from this category. Worth ordering up.

Genuinely well made
Second purchase. The first is still in daily use eighteen months on, which is why there is a second.

No complaints at all
Three months in and no change in how it performs. That is really the whole review — it has not developed a fault, a squeak or a loose part.
