About this product
Everything the Atlas 14 does, with room for a discrete GPU and the largest battery that may legally be carried into an aircraft cabin. The thermal design runs two 12mm heat pipes across CPU and GPU into a shared fin stack, which is louder under load than the 14 and honest about it: Northmark publishes the dBA curve against sustained wattage.
The chassis is 4mm thicker than the 14 for the same reason the battery is bigger. This is a machine for a desk you return to, not a machine for a train.
Highlights
- Discrete GPU with 8 GB dedicated memory
- 99 Wh battery — the cabin-legal maximum
- Published noise curve against sustained wattage
- Same socketed memory and dual-slot storage as the Atlas 14

Exactly what was described
Ordered on a Tuesday and it was here Thursday. Setup was straightforward and the documentation actually covered the thing I got stuck on.

Second one I have bought
Second purchase. The first is still in daily use eighteen months on, which is why there is a second.

Better than I expected
I bought this after reading the specification twice and it is accurate. The finish is even, nothing rattles, and the weight is what was stated rather than what was hoped for.

Better than I expected
Arrived two days early and packed properly. Everything on the listing matched what turned up, including the parts I half expected to be marketing.

Would buy again
Packaging was minimal and recyclable, which I appreciated. The product itself is well finished and the instructions were clear enough that I did not need to look anything up.
